I took these pictures Saturday and started this blog post then. I decided to finish it and post it for today. Today was sunny with temps in the 80’s.
All during the night the sound of rain hitting the roof. I love to sleep to the sound of rain hitting the roof, my back just doesn’t like the moister. At times the rain was heavy but no severe storms.
Around 9.30 AM the rain cleared off and so a walk about was calling me. The dogwoods have been in bloom but the rain seems to have knocked the petals off the trees.
this road heading over to the next campsites
you can still the puddles the rain left behind. The news said we had 2” of rain.
lots of campers here enjoying camping
This lake is huge and we had to get into the truck to see lots of it as it was too far for me to walk
This guy/gal was enjoying the clearing of morning
We got neighbors yesterday afternoon, they are across the street from us on the same side. Across the street the other direction is a restroom nested in the trees. We do not have any close neighbors were so secluded, just the way we like it.
this is the road going around our loop
after lunch we drove over to some other camp sites and boat docks .. there are lots of fingers on this lake
these campsites are not the best, they are close together .. not to our liking. We are not on the water but in our opinion we have the best spot.
I have a happy hubby, later in the afternoon he worked on his satellite and he finally got it going. Lots of persistence on his part and lots of moving the dish around and finally he said did you do the check switch test .. Ummmm .. NO .. we did that and behold it worked .. ooops
here is the entrance station when your leaving the park
We are parked on site #21
Our home waiting patiently for us to return .. doesn’t it look all nestled in?
Today was spent enjoying the outdoors and watching the kids play, swim and ride bikes. It appears several grandparents are here with their grands enjoying spring break.
Dinner tonight was stir fry cooked out on the grill with grilled chicken, shrimp and rice cooked inside .. it was yummy and what i love about cooking outside is not very many dishes :)
I have good news to report my dad is doing much better. They removed tubes and IV’s and once he has a bm he will be released to go home. Thanks to all who have been praying and thank you Jesus for putting your healing head upon my dad. I plan to get a good night sleep tonight.
