update

Wow it’s been over 2 weeks since I’ve checked in with you all.  Where does the time go?  I’m still fighting this sickness and have saw a specialist since I’ve last posted and I still have lots of respiratory problems going on.  I’ve been on very strong antibiotics for almost a month.  It seems my hearing loss and the feeling of having water in my ears may be here to stay with me.  I had to have more testing done and see another specialist on June 4th.

On the grand kids end, we’ve been enjoying our time with them.  They are thrilled to have Papa and Grammy around all the time.  Now that school is out, we look to spend even more time with them.  We are also still dealing with some stressful family issues and not sure when that will be over.

We are at our home base and doing some volunteer work to keep us busy when were not being grandparents.  Lots of our friends have returned from their winter adventures.  Although I have to admit that the weather has been horrible.  It’s either cold, raining and storming or hot.  Hmmm what happened to those spring temps?

Happy Mother’s Day!

Were still sick with this crud and it seems I will be going back to the doctor tomorrow.  My head is still full and I think I have an inner ear infections as well.

I want to send this to all the mother’s out there!

Happy 30th Anniversary!

Today 30 years ago I married the most wonderful man.  Happy Anniversary Honey .. I love you!!  It’s amazing and doesn’t seem that long ago.  We’ve had good times and bad times through out our marriage but it’s still as strong as ever.  We had planned to celebrate our anniversary by taking a trip to Alaska but it just wasn’t meant to be.  Then we thought we’d spend the day together doing something and go out for a nice dinner.  Well that wasn’t meant to be either as we are both sick and we are no longer traveling and being here for our son and grand children.  Sometimes in life you have to make decisions of not what you want to do but what you need to do for your family.  We both agree the trade off is worth it.  Spending time with our family is the best.  We love being able to be close and spend more time with them and today is being spent in bed together as we are both sick .. hmmm

The weather has been horrible, we’ve had lots of rain and cold with a few nice days in between.  I have been sick since returning and just can’t seem get over it so yesterday I finally went to the doctor and got some much needed med’s.  We have been busy being parents, grand parents and just every day lives things.
