Today would have been my father in-law Ira’s birthday. I know that you are in heaven and are not suffering anymore but know that you are loved and deeply missed. Happy Birthday!
I had a very ruff night last night. The humidity is 100 percent! It was around 6 AM before i finally got to sleep. I slept in till around 10 AM. I spent the rest of my morning just laying around. I really wanted to go see the Christmas Parade. YESSS .. even though I'm adult i still love parades!
We stopped by McDonald’s and got a bit to eat before going since i am not cooking with this back. We sat in the truck and ate while waiting for the parade to start.
once the parade started we got out of the truck and watched it. It’s a beautiful day with temps near 80 degrees, but the humidity is terrible.
there were lots of people out to see the parade. I have to admit i was a bit disappointed as there wasn’t alot of floats, mostly dance studio’s and things on that order.
Maybe it’s because I'm not feeling well ..
The parade wasn’t over and maybe there were more floats to come but i just couldn’t take it any longer due to my back pain so we left before the parade was over.
We headed back home and i went back to bed. Most of my afternoon/evening was spent in bed
The weather is predicting storms in an hour or so .. earlier there were Tornado warnings north of us near where friends Tommy and Diane live, sure praying they are okay and no damage.
It appears it’s going to be another long night for me and once the rain moves in .. colder temps are suppose to as well. I have a feeling that the bed and heating pads are going to be my best friends the next few days. If you do not hear from me it’s because I'm stuck in bed .. down in the back.
