Brrr .. cold but still a wonderful day

It’s nippy here, at 11 am it’s 40 degrees … brrrr Mr. Winter is here the next few days.  Although it’s nothing like back in Illinois where it is 28 with a inch of snow already and predicting 4-6 " more.

Even though it’s nippy here it’s still a beautiful day for me as i have received a renewal of my faith in my Lord and Savior.  If we just think about what God can do with one scarred hand, how he can heal broken hearts.  God has filled my heart and soul with a great revival.   Yes, deep in my heart the wound is still there but I'm moving forward.

I got up this morning and i did some serious cleaning as i hadn’t done that in several weeks.  It’s hard to believe a week ago today we arrived here at Big Biloxi Campground.  We have 50 amp elec and water but you have to go to the dump station for your sewer.  So far we have done okay, but we will need to dump in a few days as i forget I'm on conserve mode.

In a little bit were going to get dressed and go do something.  Not sure yet as it might be a bit chilly to walk the piers.  As long as i get a good lunch i don’t care what we do.  Yes, I'm back to mode of not cooking and eating out all the time.  Saves on sewer .. hehe

We had a wonderful afternoon.  We decided to have lunch at home before we left.  Hubby had mushroom soup and I had chicken noodle.   I remembered that we are meeting friends tomorrow for lunch and then again on Wed and Friday.  After we had lunch we headed for a drive.  It was a great day to drive around and see things.  Inside the truck is warm.  I forgot my camera .. sorry.  I still can’t believe toward Bay St. Louis they still haven’t built much back.  We crossed the bridge and just enjoyed the day.  We got back home a little past 6 pm and we were both hungry but we didn’t stop to eat as i had put a roast in the crock pot to cook while we were gone.  I had thawed it out and it needed to be cooked.  I made bbq out of it and so we had bbq sandwiches for dinner.

We are being lazy tonight and watching the Oregon/Auburn game on TV.
