We got up early and went to breakfast around 8 am. Yes, can you believe it? After breakfast we headed to devotions and prayer. Then we got to see a DVD of completed projects.
Then it was time for workshops. I chose the Computer E-mail Etiquette. It was okay and i was disappointed i really didn’t learn anything more then i already knew. While i was in class, hubby made a fast trip to Wal-mart to pick up some needed supplies for his booth he is doing for the Children’s Home.
After lunch it was time to get the booth setup (sorry forgot to take pictures of it) It turned out nice.
Then it was time for The Ladies Gathering! Hubby had a Presenter’s meeting.
Everything was decorated so nicely. Sister Kay does a fantastic job and the Ladies gathering is a huge event that we ladies always look forward to.
All the ladies in purple are headquarters staff or regional & district representatives wives.
As you can see Kay has out done herself again this year with lots of goodies to give away. I believe there was a total of 43 baskets given away .. Nice job Kay!
This is sister Kay, she is an amazing woman whom God has bless our ministry with. She is such a compassionate and loving woman. This year our gathering was called marathon of faith and it was so inspiring. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
These are the posters on the wall and things that Kay shared with us. The bottom purple one is what was on the shirts the ladies wore.
As you can see the room was filled with lots of red vest ladies and it was wonderful. Sharing the love of God is the most amazing experience i have ever endured. I thank God for allowing me to be his child. Have you thanked our Lord lately? If not do so, for he carries our burdens and gave his life for each and every one us.
After the gathering it was time to rush back to our camper and get ready for our banquet Dinner. It is Celebrate America theme tonight.
As you can see lots of red, white & blue to celebrate the greatest country in the world .. AMERICA!! Sometimes we tend to forget that even though times are hard, we do still live in the greatest country as we have our freedom.
After dinner it was time for our evening service.
Our ministry has it’s own band that does a great job. It’s amazing how good they are. Esp when they only get together once a year to play together.
Jerry Bell and our song leader for the week.
Tonight was Comedy and Drama featuring Justin Fennell. He was outstanding.
He demonstrated what RVer’s think they should use to get help when on the road and the next picture shows what actually works to get help .. if you ever get a chance to see him .. it’s worth it, he is really good.
Of course Posey wouldn’t be Posey if he didn’t make his appearance. I like his new look.
It was another great day at Convention
