Happy Anniversary Honey

Today is our Anniversary.  I have been happily married to the most wonderful man, my prince charming, my soul mate and one of the most precious gifts God has given me.  I’m a very lucky women to have my honey and i want to say to him.  I love you and thank you for all the wonderful years and I look forward to many more.

What we had planned for our Anniversary has been changed.  Hubby wanted today to be our day.  Of course that didn’t happen since our kids showed up late last night to spend the weekend with us.  Now you know why hubby is an unhappy camper. 

Although i have to admit we did enjoy our day together.  We went to our favorite place to eat.  yep, Chinese, the kids went with us and afterwards we went to tractor supply and looked around, the kids picked up a few things for their baby and then we went to Sears where hubby got a new toy (flash light) that hooks to his new drill set he purchased a few months ago and then to Rural King where i purchased a toy (shepherds pole) for my bird feeders.

Then we came home and i made potato salad, vegetable salad for a pot luck we went to at Wanda’s camper.  We had a great evening.  Wanda, Jim, Dave, Cora, the kids, hubby and I all enjoyed the beautiful evening.  Finally around 9.30 pm we headed home.

Day of Cleaning

I got up fairly early and started cleaning.  I needed to do several loads of laundry and i forgot to mention yesterday that my washer/dryer parts came in and hubby fixed it.  I’m so happy to have it going again.  Just imagine i didn’t think i wanted one because of the space i lose but i have to say i do not like it when i have to go without it.  I love having it in my home.  It’s so convenient and i do not have to lug stuff up and down the stairs.

I did the dishes that hadn’t been done for a couple of days.  I know terrible huh?  I vacuumed, swept, cleaned the bathroom.  It took me all morning to get my cleaning done and now i have a clean home :))

My sister Patty called me and she was checking out a campground near us and wanted to see if was home.  She stopped by and it was good to see her as i haven't had a chance to see my siblings since i've been back.  (there never seems to be enough time) I got to meet my new great niece Cayley and she is beautiful.  They couldn't stay long but it was great to see her. 

Since the sun was out and it was such a beautiful day several of us campers here sat outside in the sun enjoying the warmth and sunshine.

After dinner I went down to Wanda’s and we sat at her place and enjoyed the fire from a safe distance away that my asthma wouldn’t go wild.  We sat outside until around 9.30 pm and enjoyed our time together.

I went to bed a little after 10 pm and around 11 pm our son Gabe showed up!  He is spending the night .. there went my weekend of no kids (hubby is not a happy camper)

Another Dentist Appointment

Today was another day at the dentist.  I was up and out of the door and arrived for my appointment. 

After that a needed stop to Aldie’s and Wal-mart. Then back home to rest a bit before our game date.
After dinner we played Pegs and Joker with Cliff, Georgia, Harold, Doris, Wanda and Becky.  We had a good time and I was a man.  The men won the game.

I still have a horrible cough and not sure how long it’s going to take to fully get over this junk i have.  I am feeling much better and tomorrow is day planned to clean.

Justice is served

I have been feeling much better the past couple of days.  I’m taking Mucinex  DM and it has really helped.  I am still struggling with a drippy nose and coughing yuck from my chest. 

Tuesday night we played games with friends.  Friends from SC, Harvey and Julie stopped in for a visit and even though they have been here since Friday, yesterday was the first time we had a chance to see them.  Between the Grand’s being here and me being sick.  We had a great fun night.

I was happy to hear Monday that finally after almost 10 years and billions of dollars Osama bin Laden has been brought to justice.  Although i have to admit being so sick on Monday i really didn’t comprehend what i had heard.  Several days later and feeling better it has finally sunk in and I pray that peace and closure can come to all those who have personally been affected by 9/11.  I know that one life does not replace another but ..  The Bible says an eye for eye and hopefully all those family and friends of those who’s lives were lost in the Twin Towers, Airplane and Pentagon may begin a closure of justice has been served.

I’m sick

Ughhh .. now i remember why i do not like to be North in April .. I’m sick with allergies, sinus and chest congestion.  Yesterday my asthma was wild and i used my inhaler all day long.

I have spent most of the day in bed with cold chills, fever and aching all over.  Hopefully my medication will kick in soon.

My night didn’t get any better .. i have been sick all night long and in bed all day and night long.

A Cold Day to be Sick!

Today has been a cloudy and chilly actually to me it's been downright cold day.  Here is our campsite.  right now it’s not under water. 

My flowers are enjoying the rain, their blooming.

We spent the day with grand kids again today, although i have to admit Papa did most of it as i went from the living room to bed.  Later their parents came to get them.  They left around 7.30 pm and since i’m sick i headed to bed.

A Weekend of Grand Kids

We spent the weekend with the grand kids.  They came to spend the night at Grandma’s.  Saturday was a nice day for the kids to play outside riding bikes.

Later that night the rain came again and so we played inside and watched cartoons.  Here is Toby after his bath and Hailey playing with her toys.
