10,000 mailing

Today devotions was cancelled so that we could help volunteer to work to get out the mailing. 10,000 letters had to be stuffed with brochures and then put into envelopes, sealed and labled to be ready to get mailed out.

We finally finished up in time for them to be put in the mail today! Yeppie and we pray that the needed donations come in to run this home. So many families depend on this home for the needed support.

If you would like to donate to this home please send me a message in private and i will gladly share their mailing address. All donations are appreciated and is truly put to a great use for a wonderful ministry. This is a home for hot meals and warm beds for many.

A busy week …

It’s been a busy week. The weather has been beautiful with temps in the high 70’s.

Monday was spent cleaning as our home was a wreck from the weekend. Monday afternoon i had company. Pam came to visit and we had a wonderful time.

Tuesday was spent visiting with the ladies and wonderful fellowship.

Wednesday was our weekly devotional with the staff. I love Bro Harry’s devotions. He does such a fantastic job!!

Then we worked on stuffing envelopes with the mailing literature to be sent out by the end of the week

We were served lunch and then more stuffing

We did have some great song service during lunch. Thanks Pat and BJ

and then dinner and chapel service.

Special guest tonight were Harry, Martha and their family

Benny sang and he has an awesome voice. I could of listened to him sing for hours. What an amazing talent God has given Benny and he uses it to praise our Lord and Savior.

It’s been an amazing week so far and i hate to see it come to end as several of the RVer’s are pulling out to head home. It’s always a sad time when you have to say good bye to wonderful friends you have made throughout the past few weeks.

These 4 couples are the RVer’s the are leaving Saturday. They will be missed. Winter is close to coming to end.

Amazing Sunday

Today we went to church at Evangelist Temple. It’s a non domination church. Bro Barry Roberts is the pastor but today Jason Harris spoke. It was an awesome service. Scriptures today was Matthew 7:15-23

We went out to lunch with the RVer’s at Ryan’s. Although we were late arriving at service lasted until 12.40 pm!

Then a trip to Wal-mart was needed and we got home in time to get a quick nap before Chapel service at 5 pm. Brother Harry gave the message tonight and it was another awesome message. What a way to end a wonderful day.

What was left of the evening was spent watching tv and enjoying each others company.

Relaxing Saturday

After a late night last night a needed day of sleeping in was on the menu. Then we spent the rest of our morning just relaxing.

We were invited to lunch at our RV friends Rudy & Elaine’s camper. I made a salad to take. We had a wonderful lunch outside. They carried their table and chairs outside. It was a beautiful day for lunch outside. We had spaghetti, bread and salad with a delicious chocolate chip cake and ice cream for dessert. Wonderful fellowship.

I hadn’t taken any pictures of the new carport that is going up so after a wonderful afternoon i slipped over and got a picture of the work that was done this week. I also took a picture of our comfy home. See how nice it is today .. i have been able to open my door all week long!!

We have had beautiful temps all week long. I pray that this nice weather continues.

Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival

Today i got up and went to crafts with the ladies. Every other Friday the ladies have craft day and the other Friday is outing day. I worked on embroidering the baby quilt i have been working on for ever!

We went to an awesome revival. It’s called Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival. Nathan Morris was the evangelist. John Kilpatrick was a speaker as well. It was an awesome experience. I had never been to a revival like it.

We got home at 1 am!

Ladies Valentines Tea

Today i went to the ladies gathering. It was our Valentines Day Tea gathering. Nancy organized it and did a wonderful job! Thanks Nancy!!

Lots of great RV friends here …

It was really decorated so nicely and we had a great time. We had good food, a wonderful devotion and great fellowship.

I spent my afternoon sitting outside enjoying the wonderful temps.

Unwanted Visitor

I had a visitor this morning! A Moe came calling. It has been making a mess in the yard out front of the camper. I let Lexi go in hopes that she would catch it. But, she didn’t.

I snapped some pictures of the guys riding around on the trailer from inside my home.
