Feels like Spring is Here!

I went to devotions this morning and the after lunch we went over to one of the houses and helped pack up the kitchen. 2 of the houses here are getting a make over next week.

These moths were over at the carport .. I think their pretty neat looking .. what ya think???

The back of one of the carports is almost done and they are starting on the side. It’s coming along.

I finally caught Ron painting. He is a hard person to catch. See the inside he is working and working.

Then you have these 2 .. hmmm Tom appears to be holding a pole up and i think Frank is holding up the wall?

Hmm do they work or just chat?

Isn’t this yard looking good. This is Miss Audrey's garden and she works hard and is already getting it looking good for spring.

Wedding Shower

I got up this morning and got ready for a wedding shower. 2 very sweet people here at the home meet and we all thought last year they’d make a great couple. This year they are getting married!

David and Twila are the engaged couple to be married in a few weeks. They are a really sweet couple.

Elishia was giving them her solo and yes we all laughed it was terrible but she was a great sport. It’s the thought that counts .. right??

One of the games was the groom and guest were split up into groups and had to pick a bride and dress them.

The guys really got into dressing the groom up. It was funny to watch them and they quite decorative.

Notice the bottom pictures of the groom/bride .. his friends equipped him with the upper female body parts.

Of course the bride got pick which dress she would choice to wear and of course she picked her grooms. She stated because his was the only one staying together and falling off .. lol

Now we get to the bubble gum game. Ahead of time the bride and groom had to answer questions about the other and if they missed the question they had to put a piece of gum in their mouth. As you can see their mouths were getting quiet full.

Poor Twila didn’t have a big enough mouth although she came out the winner. She missed 13 and David missed 16.

They received many nice gifts and cash. It was a great shower and i’m so blessed that i got to be apart of it.

My afternoon was spent doing laundry and being lazy. Today would be beautiful with temp’s in the high 60’s but the wind is howling big time.

Tonight was chapel and it was a nice service. After chapel i came home and spent the rest of my evening relaxing.

Dreary, Lazy Day

Today was a dreary day with drizzles of rain off and on during the morning/early afternoon. My allergies are still giving me fits of sneezing, itching and just not feeling the best.

So another day of just relaxing inside was on the menu for today.

Allergies getting the best of me

I have spent my entire day in my pj’s just being lazy. My allergies are getting the best of me. My nose, throat and ears have itched all day long!

Spring is in the air. I love Spring but it doesn’t love me.

I posted a few weeks ago about several of the RVer’s leaving. Carol wrote on the bulletin board in the laundry facilities. I captured the picture so I'm posting it now.

A Beautiful Sunday

Got up and got ready for church. Church ran over again this morning and so yes i was late for my lunch date. All the RVer’s met at CiCi’s Pizza. We had a great lunch and fellowship then we all headed to Wal-mart for the weekly needed supplies.

Wow .. Wal-mart’s shelves were pretty empty on several items? I wonder are they not stocking or just more people are buying and stocking up? I wanted some polish sausage but they didn’t have the brand i like or can afford. Then it was Pringles chips and they only had a few selection of those .. hmmm Let’s just say that since several things i needed was not available my expense today was $30 .. much less then last week!

After Wal-mart my friend Dorothy needed to stop by Sally’s and then it was on to Lowe’s. Once again it was late afternoon before arriving back home.

It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the sun is shining and in the 60’s. Although i have to admit it’s a bit on the cool side when your not in the sun. The rest of my late afternoon/evening was spent surfing the net and relaxing. YES … I came home and got comfy in my pj’s! Nope there isn't chapel tonight and i'm so glad because I'm feeling a bit on the lazy side. It's been a busy week for me. So the rest of tonight is going to be spent curled up on the couch or even bed reading a good romance book!

One year inside our new home

Wow ... It was a year ago today that we took possession of our new home! We love living in it. We love all the space we have. We are thankful to blessed with a wonderful home to live in. The large fresh water and gray/black tanks are so nice and let us dry or semi dry camp longer then our old home.

I got up this morning and what a nippy morning it is. The wind is gusting at times and we get a bit of rock. Once i got moving it was time to empty my closet out so that hubby could work on my dryer. It has stopped drying. After the dryer was diagnosed to need a new heating element. We spent time visiting with Tom and Betty who came to visit.

We had a nice visit and then i headed to check on Dorothy another RVer as she had taken a fall yesterday. Oh MY! She has a swollen nose and forehead and a black eye. She is really sore and moving very slowly today.

The rest of the evening was spent trying to stay warm. A cold front has hit us and i’m not liking it!!

another day of working

i got up this morning and headed over to finish helping put the donations in the pantry. We look at the expiration dates and if they are good we marked the items and then put them away in the pantry.

After lunch we had finished our job and so the afternoon was spent outside visiting enjoying a nice afternoon. It was cloudy but still warm enough to enjoy the out doors.

After dinner we met with the other RVer’s and had game night. It was fun and I didn’t get home until after 10 pm
