I am feeling better but still taking it easy. It’s a beautiful day. I took a picture of our campsite. As you can see, the weather is perfect to have the windows and doors open! Several more rigs pulled in yesterday and lots more to come. Convention is getting closer and i’m so excited about seeing friends i haven’t seen in a year or 2!
Happy Summer!!

Still under the weather
I’m still a bit under the weather and have called the doctor. I will be having a sonogram on Friday.
I did end up doing some laundry today as it was piling up and i was running out of needed items. Our son Tyson came for lunch and we had a nice short visit with him. Then later that evening i took the bike and went visiting. It was a nice evening.

A Cold Day!
I got up this morning and I wasn’t feeling too good. So i spent most of the morning just being lazy and laying around. It’s very cool and the wind is blowing making the cool temps even more miserable.
Later in the afternoon hubby decided to put new antenna up for my mifi. I went from 1-2 bars to 5 bars! It works great!
Hubby purchased some plumbing pipe and built me a pole that can be taken apart and stored when we are in travel mode. I purchased a Wilson dual-Band mirror mount cell phone antenna, wilson signal boost hdsolo mobile dual band amplifier and an extra 20 foot cable, the amplifier also came with an wilson ultra slim antenna with FME Female connector.
The outside antenna connectors to the booster and then the ultra antenna connects to the other end of the booster and then you just lay or in my case rubber band the mifi to slim antenna and it works great.
Friends of mine said they were able to use this same setup while they were parked in the mountains and all over in remote areas. I’m looking forward to seeing how well this set up works for me.
I love having my own wireless internet in my home and not having to drive places to find it.
Later that evening our friend Wanda had a fire at her camper and several other friends joined us and we had nice evening visiting with friends and enjoying the campfire.

More Plumbing
We got up early and headed to our son Tyson’s home. Hopefully today will be the last of the plumbing job.
I spent my time entertaining grandchildren. We were there all day and most of the evening and what an exhausting day. A fun day of spending time with family but exhausting. We stopped by Wal-mart and got some fried chicken for dinner, neither of us felt like cooking. On the way home our son called and said that the hot water doesn’t work in the tub .. Ughhh
Hubby gave our son some suggestions to try in the morning and if not it looks to be another trip to Tyson’s house.
I took a shower and was in bed by a little after 9 pm.

Dentist again
We got up early again today for another dentist appointment. Once again i sat reading a book while i waited on hubby. Several hrs later he finally came out for me to only find that this tooth is still not done! Hopefully one more visit. Hubby’s blood pressure just isn’t cooperating with this dental work.
We headed to Home Depot and Lowe’s for some more plumbing supplies for Tyson. Last week they got the underground part of the plumbing done but not under and in the house.
Then we went to get something to eat as we were both hungry as no breakfast or lunch and it was getting later in the afternoon. Yes, we chose Chinese again.
Then it was back home. Several more RV Volunteers arrived. It was a busy evening spending time with friends.

Banquet and Skit of RV Volunteers
We had a presentation in the chapel on WD-40 and our friend Terry is the guy in the photo. It was funny and i think all the Mappers enjoyed it.
Next you are going to see a overwhelming volunteers in their red vest! RV Maps wear red vest with patches of places they have volunteer their services to.
Then it was on to the dining hall for a steak lunch! It was so good!
It was time for skit which is titled .. Judge Hatchett ‘s Monkey court!
Served a summons
The charged monkey’s being watched over by Sheriff Lingo
One of the accused being questioned by Judge Hatchett
Prosecuting attorney pleading her case against one of the accused
The jury deciding one of the accused fate.
This accused has been arrested and found guilty 2 times now in less than a 3 month period. Judge Hatchett didn’t go nicely on him.
It was a great day filled with fun and laughter.

Gathering of friends
Tonight was a potluck dinner. Since there was no dinner in the dining hall several of us decided on a pot luck.
There was tons of good food. Wanda made home made chicken and noodles, there was bread roles, corn, fruit, corn and several really yummy salads, a pineapple upside down cake (by me) and a apple cobbler.
If anyone left hungry it’s their own fault as the food was great and i ate too much as always! It was a great night filled with fun and laughter.
Later in the evening Wanda, Cora and myself sat outside at Cora’s to visit a bit more. Well until the skeeter’s chased us back to our own rigs.
