Sometimes going with your instincts is good!

I was lazy this morning and slept in until 9.30 AM.  My back isn’t liking this cold weather.  Although it seems unless we head to Southern Texas or Florida there is no way escaping it.  Arizona is even cold!  It’s great that our home is on wheels and where ever we are.  I love it!!  It’s wonderful that most the time we can change our plans if we want to.  Of course if it involves a family emergency or something like that we wouldn’t.

There are times in our lives that it’s a good thing that we change our plans.  This is one of those times.  We are so glad we  decided to wait on friends to pass through as  Dallas and El Paso, Texas, where we would be passing through  is predicted to get a snow storm!  Had we not decided to delay our departure we’d of been in the middle of it.  NO thank you!!   We have not decided what day we will be pulling out.  We are just taking it day by day and since our friends Tommy and Diane do not mind us being here, it makes it even better.  I’m sure that once this front passes through there it’s going to bring more rain for us here.

We had planned on attending the RTR Rally in Quartzsite, AZ but since we delayed our departure, we will not be making the Rally.  I removed the countdown on the side for it.  We received an email and friends we were meeting in AZ need to delay their arrival date so that is also good for us as it gives us more play in our future plans.  This RV lifestyle is wonderful and I love that we are able to be so flexible and re-write the Jell-o anytime we want or need to.

The sun has came out today but it’s still pretty nippy.  Tommy and Diane had their family over for a fish fry and we enjoyed a wonderful meal and then we headed back to our own place to relax.  My back is hurting from the cold weather.  So we spent the afternoon curled up watching old shows.

Dinner was just a quick thing, I had some left over potato soup and hubby had a hamburger.  We went over and played spades with Tommy and Diane and their grandkids Ethan and Macy (their spending the night) then we headed home to rest before calling it a night.
